A Competitive Car 

The RB15 saw Red Bull bring in Honda engines; driven by Max Verstappen and Alex Albon (and Pierre Gasly in the first half of the season), the car highlighted itself as one of the most competitive on the grid, with Verstappen performing race after race. 

Battling well with the Ferraris throughout the year and even proving a match for the dominant Mercedes duo later in the calendar, the 2019 season gave premonitions of seasons to come where Verstappen would go on to become a three-time World champion for Red Bull. 

When Verstappen stormed to victory in Austria – the team’s home race – it became the first Honda-powered car to win a race in 13 years. And his pole position at the Hungarian Grand Prix was the team’s first since 2005. It was a landmark moment, as Verstappen became the first Dutch F1 driver to be on pole – and F1’s 100th pole sitter. 

In total, the RB15 powered Red Bull to three race wins, six further podiums, two pole positions and five fastest laps, scoring 417 points and earning third place in the Constructors’ Championship. 

The 1:8 Scale Model 

This exquisite 1:8 scale model has been handcrafted and finished in Amalgam Collection’s workshops, in collaboration with Red Bull with regards to original finishes, materials, archive imagery and drawings. 

The use of original CAD from the team and accurate digital scanning of the original RB15 car means that every detail has been perfectly recreated at scale.
