Story
The driver line up for McLaren in 2009 consisted of Lewis Hamilton, who had previously won the World Championship with the team in 2008, and Heikki Kovalainen.
It was a good year for McLaren and the drivers, with Lewis finishing the season in fifth place in the Drivers’ Championship, and Heikki finishing in 12th. This resulted in the team coming third in the Constructor’s battle.
Fact File
This particular show car features Jenson Button liveries which include his driver number and name on the design. Button joined McLaren in 2010 and became a crucial part of the team for many seasons after. It also features the 2009 McLaren liveries and sponsorship branding seen on the race car.
