The McLaren team consisted of two-time World Champion, Fernando Alonso and Jenson Button in 2015. It was a challenging season for the team despite the drivers pushing for good results - the team finished in ninth place in the Constructors’ World Championship. 

A shoulder louvre is used for ventilation and is a slatted panel used to help airflow move around the car and help keep the engine cool. It is so named a ‘shoulder’ louvre based on its positioning on the car – mounted on the shoulders of the engine. The slats or vents are angled to increase the speed of the airflow.
