Hand-cut from the McLaren race car that Alonso drove during the 2016 FIA Formula One World Championship, this unique piece of bodywork is now presented alongside a photograph of the two-time World Champion at the United States Grand Prix and comes professionally framed ready to display.
Alonso joined McLaren in 2015, following a year long stint with them in 2007, and continued with them until end of 2019 (his last racing season with them was 2018, but he remained an ambassador in 2019). The United States Grand Prix saw Alonso achieve a strong 5th place finish, scoring 10 points for his team, which was his joint highest race finish of the season alongside the Monaco Grand Prix. Alonso finished 10th in the Drivers’ World Championship, claiming points at nine Grands Prix throughout the season.
