F1® Authentics is delighted to be supporting F1® driver Esteban Ocon in auctioning his unique fan designed helmet for charity. Worn this season in Brazil at the 2025 São Paulo Grand Prix, this uniquely designed 1-of-1 helmet is truly unlike any other and all proceeds raised will be donated to Laureus Sport for Good.
MoneyGram Haas F1 Team driver Ocon previously launched a competition via his official website and social media channels earlier this year, asking for creative fans to design a special livery for his helmet and submit these to him through official channels. After a huge response, the driver chose a winning creation himself and wore this over the race weekend at Autódromo José Carlos Pace (Interlagos) in November 2025.
The Significance of Brazil
Brazil is a special location for Esteban, especially after he secured an unexpected second-place finish at the race last season. Alongside his then teammate Pierre Gasley, Ocon joined Max Verstappen in the top three, helping to catapult Alpine F1 team up the standings in the 2024 Constructors' Championship. Now enjoying a season with MoneyGram Haas F1 Team, that moment in São Paulo remains a career milestone and foundation for the French ace to build towards future success.
Speaking on Instagram when revealing the design competition, Esteban Ocon said, "As you know, Brazil means a lot to me … I got a lot of support, a lot of fans, and obviously fantastic memories from 2024, but … every year I go there is extra special. And so, I got a little surprise for you guys, something special that I wanted to do for a long time. I decided that YOU can design my helmet for the 2025 Brazilian Grand Prix."
A Winning Formula
A huge number of fans submitted designs in the hope of seeing them immortalised on track. Esteban posted a thank you message to all who submitted ideas, saying it was “so difficult to choose just one” among the many “real works of art”. But there could only be one winner.
It was revealed that a design by a fan named Fernanda had been chosen and would go into production to become the first-ever fan designed helmet to be worn by Esteban Ocon driving for MoneyGram Haas F1 Team. On announcing the chosen design, Ocon said, “Thank you Fernanda for your beautiful design. I love it and I can’t wait to wear it on track.”
The winning design evolves on the trademark red-and-black colours Ocon adopted for the 2025 season, infusing the colours of the Brazilian flag towards the rear, along with the inscription ‘Senna Forever’, paying tribute to Brazil’s beloved motorsport legend.
When submitting the design for consideration, Fernanda explained, “The helmet blends the warm colours of a Brazilian sunset with greens and oranges that bring to mind nature, birds, and lush vegetation. On the back, a bird silhouette symbolises freedom and movement, with a “north” pointing upward where Esteban’s parents’ initials sit, representing guidance and family roots. Small stickers and details highlight personal touches and sources of inspiration, like Ayrton Senna’s S and logo, paying tribute to the legendary driver in his home country.
“The result is a helmet that combines emotion, identity, and homage, connecting nature, family, and the thrill of speed. Essentially, the design reflects a guiding idea for life: always look forward, build your present, and keep your “north” aligned with what gives your life purpose.”
Power to Change the World
All proceeds of this auction lot will be donated to Ocon’s chosen charity, Laureus Sport for Good, supporting more than 300 programmes in over 40 countries and territories, each using the power of sport to support young people from under-served communities.
Founded in response to Nelson Mandela’s challenge, issued at the first Laureus World Sports Awards in Monaco in 2000, that “sport has the power to change the world”, the charities vision is to use sport as a powerful and cost-effective tool to help children and young people overcome violence, discrimination and disadvantage in their lives. Every bid on this auction lot helps raise vital funds for a fantastic cause.

Step 1: Register to Bid
To register as a bidder, create an account on our account. You'll be asked to provide your credit card details, and a temporary charge will be placed on the account for the duration of the auction to minimise fraudulent accounts from interfering with the bidding process.
Step 2: Place Your Bid
Items at auction may be sold with or without a reserve price, and will be clearly identified as such during the auction.
For a sale to be successful a bid must equal or exceed the reserve. In the event that you are the highest final bidder, but the total bid remains under the reserve price the item will not sell.
Popcorn Bidding: All lots use a 5-minute time extension system. If a bid is placed within the final 5 minutes, the lot’s end time will extend by another 5 minutes. This can continue for up to 24 hours after the original closing time.
Items that are sold without a reserve will be clearly identified as such during the auctions. In their case the highest final bid will always win the item.
Items that do not meet reserve or do not receive any bids will not sell. Upon the closure of the auction these will be removed and managed independently by our specialists. Interested parties are invited to engage with our private sales team to make an offer.
Step 3: Make Payment
We pride ourselves in offering our customers a variety of payment options to satisfy their preferences. Upon conclusion of the auction the F1® Authentics sales platform will automatically issue a payment link to the winning bidder.
Payment is due in full by the end of the first business day following a sale. Proof of payment will be required and requested by our specialists.
Auction hammer price is exclusive of buyer's premium and sales tax, and exclusive of import duties and VAT.
All invoices and payments will be in Great British Pounds (GBP).
Step 4: Lot Shipment
