1999 Ferrari F399 Official Show Car
A Turning Point in Red – The 1999 Ferrari F399 Official Show Car
F1® Authentics is proud to present the Official Ferrari F399 Show Car - a full-scale tribute to the machine that marked Ferrari’s return to Constructors’ Championship glory during the 1999 FIA Formula One World Championship™.
The F399 was first seen at the Australian Grand Prix and went on to play a pivotal role in Ferrari’s modern legacy. Driven by Michael Schumacher, Eddie Irvine, and temporarily by Mika Salo, the F399 carried the Scuderia through a dramatic season filled with victory, resilience, and recovery. With Schumacher injured mid-season, Irvine stepped into a title-contending role while the F399 ultimately delivered Ferrari its first Constructors’ Championship since 1983.
This show car is an accurate visual recreation of the F399, featuring the sweeping sidepods, high-nose design, and livery details that characterised the late '90s era of Ferrari engineering. Crafted using authentic processes and F1®-grade presentation standards, this non-running model is ideal for collectors, event displays, motorsport museums, or marque showcases.

Story
The '99 in the car's name reflects the year it was built, the same criteria used by Ferrari in 1953 and 1955. The 3 refers to the race cars displacement.
The F399 was a reliable race car and despite the McLaren MP4-14 being more competitive, the F399 managed to conquer the Constructors’ Championship, a title that Ferrari had not clinched in 16 years, since 1983.
The car claimed six victories in the 1999 FIA Formula One World Championship. The team scored an impressive 128 points in the Constructors’ Standings, 44 belonging to Michael Schumacher, 74 to Eddie Irvine and 10 for Mika Salo.
