Mercedes do have a history in Formula 1, where they raced in 1954 & 1955 with icons Juan Manuel Fangio & Stirling Moss - but it took them all the way until 2010 to return to the pinnacle of Motorsport and they had a journey back to the front to make.

This was the first win in their return to F1, Nico Rosberg at the 2012 Chinese GP. This had potential to be a One-Two too, had it not been for a mechanical fault whilst Schumacher was in 2nd.
