Lewis Hamilton joined the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team in 2013 and has continued racing with them since, securing six of his World Championship titles with the team. They had yet another exciting season in 2021, with Hamilton securing second place in the Drivers' Championship.
The 2021 Brazilian Grand Prix was an exciting one for Hamilton, often considered one of Lewis’ finest on track performances after being relegated from pole to the back of the grid for sprint qualifying. He climbed to finish fifth in the sprint race, and took the victory in Sunday’s Grand Prix. A year later during F1 week 2022, Lewis Hamilton was made an honorary citizen of Brazil.
